What’s the latest on the Prince William and Kate Middleton wedding? Here’s the scoop!
The April 29 wedding invitations were already sent last February 17-18. Approximately 1800 invitations have been sent out and distributed by the Lord Chamberlain’s office.
The invitations to "the Marriage of His Royal Highness Prince William of Wales, K.G. with Miss Catherine Middleton" state that those who will attend the 11 a.m. ceremony are expected to be in "uniform, morning coat or lounge suit."
Best Man and Maid of Honor are both the siblings of the couple, namely Prince Harry, the brother of Prince William, and Pippa, Middleton’s sister. Also, three different clergymen will be presiding over the ceremony: the Dean of Westminster for the service, the Archbishop of Canterbury for the vows, and the Bishop of London for the address.
Queen Elizabeth will host the reception at Buckingham Palace with the newly-married couple and their guests. Prince Charles on the other hand will give a private evening dinner and dancing at the Palace for the couple and their close family and friends.
